Currently TECH Clean California is not conducting any on-site verification for individual applications. Partner programs that work with TECH Clean California will conduct inspections on their programs as expected.
However, TECH Clean California is being evaluated by a third-party evaluation firm, Opinion Dynamics as part of our contractual agreement with the California Public Utilities Commission. Projects involving the installation of incentivized equipment are subject to project site audits. Terms and conditions of these post-installation inspections can be found in the Trade Professional Participation Agreement Form.
Contractors must provide these terms and conditions to the customer for reference as part of their invoice. The invoice including these terms must be submitted as part of the application submission package.
