Participating contractors must maintain insurance meeting the minimum coverage amounts are the same as CSLB:
a) Liability insurance, with an aggregate limit of $1 million, for licenses with five or fewer persons listed as personnel; plus an additional $100,000 for each additional personnel listed on the license; not to exceed $5 million total (LLC licenses only)
b) Workers’ compensation insurance as dictated by CSLB requirements.
In addition, all policies have a financial rating of at least “A-” and a financial size category of at least “VII” on the most current edition of AM Best’s Key Rating Guide or a secure rating by another generally recognized rating agency.
Insurance documentation will be uploaded during the enrollment form completion.
TECH Clean California and/or Energy Solutions do not need to be listed as a certificate holder.
